The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us all many lessons, two of the most important being that good health is a precious commodity and life can change in an instant.

The goal of this month's luncheon is to encourage conversations around healthcare and prioritize the importance of financially and emotionally planning in advance of a long-term health event.

But you may be asking yourself, why is long-term care an important woman's issue? Women are statistically the family caregivers and statistically live longer than men. Having a long term care plan directly addresses these two key retirement factors: rising costs of long-term care and increasing life expectancies.

Our intention is to encourage attendees to address an important part of retirement planning by engaging in conversations around long-term care and learning about services available in the Buck's County area. While taking steps to improve your health today is a great beginning, we challenge you to take healthcare planning a little further by developing a long-term care contingency plan for you and your family. Control your future. Discover options about how and where you would want to receive care and learn ways to protect a financially secure retirement full of choices.
